London with my Mr. Chambers! :)

Hi guys! :)

This is just a quick little post to talk about mine & my fiance's trip to London at the weekend! :)

The main reason we went was because it was IMATS!!! :) (which i'll blog about after this post!) so, we woke up really early on Saturday to set off to London, we made a huuuge packed lunch with sandwiches, crisps, drinks, sweets etc.. it was yummy! We got to London around half 11, I think? We parked in Central Kensington because it costs a fortune to park in the centre of London! so we had to get a bus into the middle of London because the Northern Line on the tube was closed! so the bus took about half an hour to get to the centre. We got our tube tickets and then went to see if we could check into our hotel early because our bags were heavy and they let us! :) so I got showered and changed and then we head out into London! :)

The weather changed sooo much throughout the weekend, it was ridiculous! (typical British weather) when we first got into London, it was really sunny and hot, then it kept getting gloomy, then raining on & off for the rest of the day! We had to buy an umbrella!

So gloomy! :( (it started to rain after I took this!)

so we got the tube back to Kensington to go back to the hotel so Craig could put some warmer clothes on :)

We had a little chill-out in the hotel for abit, had a coffee then set off out again! :) we went to the Embankment to find somewhere to have a meal.. we walked around there for about an hour and a half trying to find somewhere but it was so hectic! There were loads of places but there weren't much to choose from on the menus, SO, SO many italian places! We finally found a TGI's but there was a wait of 40 mins. By this point, we were both so hungry and fed up, so we decided to get back on the tube and go to Earls Court which was near our hotel, and find somewhere to eat there.

We found a nice little pub and decided to eat in there :) Craig had steak and I had a chicken & mushroom pie, it was sooo nice! we had plenty of drinks and such a good night! :)

after, we walked back to our hotel in the dark, but it was such a nice night, not too chilly! :)

We were both extremely tired after walking around ALL day so we fell straight asleep ready for another early morning the next day for imats!

We checked out of our hotel & caught the tube to Kensington Olympia to find the place where imats was taking place.. 

The hall was literally outside of the tube station..

so we queued up, 45 minutes before imats started and we were about 5 people from the front, which I was so happy about! :)

Anyway, like I said, my imats post will be straight after this one! :)

so after imats, we went on the tube (AGAIN) because we wanted to go to Harrods! 

It's insane in there! I didn't like it at all :(

don't get me wrong, it was nice and obviously a lot of expensive brands but EVERYTHING was just SO expensive and  I cannot stand overpriced stuff! I saw a plain black leather bag in Harrods for like £2256? I just found it ridiculous.. but that's just me hahaha. 

Craig was laughing at me because I said "get me out of this sh*t place.. you can buy all of this sh*t in Primark!" :')

I only wanted to go in there for the pet kindgom.. but when we got there, all there were was a dog, and 4 puppies & some fish? We didn't see anything else, so not much to look at really! which was disappointing! I WANTED TO SEE LOTS OF KITTENS!

We'd both never been in Harrods before, so by 'pet kingdom' we were expecting to see quite alot, because Craig's nana breeds pugs and Harrod's used to buy them off of her!

But anyway, after Harrods, we were ready to go home. The Northern Line still wasn't working so we had to make our way to Kings Cross then get the bus again.

Finally back into Finchley and we were both so happy to see Carla the Corsa!!!! :)

NEXT STOP: DONCASTER.

HOME, YAY! :)

We had such a lovely weekend together! but we both don't want to go back to London for awhile because it's sooo tiring! 

So much to see, so many tubes to get! haha :)

Kat Von D Saint & Sinner Painted Love Lipstick Set Review

Today i'm going to do my first ever review so, let's see how this goes! :)

Last year, my mum went to Hawaii and got me a few bits from a Sephora shop there! :) whenever she goes abroad, she ALWAYS gets me stuff from Sephora, it's like a tradition now hahaha! :) she picked me up the Kat Von D Saint & Sinner Painted Love lipstick set that looks something like thissss...

You get 6 mini lipsticks that come in black, red & silver shimmery cardboard packaging covered with a beautiful design all over. (I actually threw my box away because it ripped) but the lipsticks are;

Agatha / Cathedral / Forever & Never / Backstage Bambi / Adora / Stiletto

This set is no longer available to purchase on the Sephora website, so i'm not sure how much it was but you can get the full size versions HERE! :)

They are tinyyyy! so perfect to fit in your purse or a clutch bag! :)

as you can tell, the lipstick tubes are black with gorgeous silver rose detailing.

I think this lipstick set was a really good idea as you can test out 6 different colours instead of having to buy each one individually. However, I really wish there was a wider variety included as the set only contains different shades of browns/reds.

L-R: Agatha- a light nude peach shade which I used to wear a lot as you can tell by the picture..

Cathedral- a chocolate brown shade which i've used alot as a lip liner! then blended it in with Agatha.

Forever & Never- a metallic, shimmery bronze shade. I actually haven't used this one yet! D:

Backstage Bambi- a really hot pink, perfect for a night out!

Adora- a really deep spiced apple colour! I also haven't used this one either. (the award for abandoning the kat von d lipsticks goes to me! Oops).

Last but not least.. Stiletto- a deep blood red with slight orange undertones.

The lipsticks have really good staying power so you won't find yourself having to keep reapplying throughout the day- with them only being small, they will actually last longer than you think! :) I found them really mousturizing and highly pigmented, no doubt about that! So...

What's in my bag & purse! :)

Today I thought i'd jump on the bandwagon and do a quick little 'what's in my bag' post :)

 

So, being a girl, I own quite a few bags/purses but this is my most favourite & the one I carry around the most- the Kardashian Kollection Large Black Stud Tote!

It cost £55.00 but I love it! It's really deep so it can fit alot of stuff in and has a smaller zipped pocket inside + 2 little pouches opposite, so plenty of space for whatever I wish to carry!

I loveee the stud detailing at the bottom of the bag, so glamorous!

These are the everyday items that I carry around :)

hairbrush / deodorant / hayfever nasal spray / ipod / phone charger / purse /lipstick / perfume.

My hair is constantly getting knotted up which is soooo annoying so I carry around a small little brush so it doesn't take up too much space in my bag :)

I never leave the house without any type of smelly! :) as soon as I start to feel sweaty or hot, I spray myself straight away. I cannot stand body odour! I always carry my YSL Babydoll that smells heavenly! It's definitely my favourite perfume ever! I highly recommend it and it's not that expensive either, compared to alot of perfumes! Available here. :)

In my bag right now, i'm carrying around MAC's 'Impassioned' lipstick which is a really beautiful, deep fuschia colour!

To match my black & gold studded Kardashian Kollection bag, I also got the purse! :) this isn't on the Dorothy Perkins website anymore, so i'm not sure where else you could purchase this but I actually wish I didn't get this one. The little studs fall off soooo easily! as you can tell from mine, it looks a complete mess! :(

In my purse, I always have my costa coffee card- I always get a costa drink whenever i'm in town! mmm :) my library card- I feel like the library is my second home at the moment! I'm always in there printing off cv's! :( also, my tattoo appointment card from months ago that I don't want to throw away!

There's always 1 or 2 spare hair clips in case I ever need one for the annoying little fly away baby hairs! My money- I have about £11-something to my name.. how depressing?

The last thing i'm going to mention in my purse is my LUCKY VEGAS POKER CHIP! :) it's not a real poker chip haha, it was a keyring I bought when I first went to las vegas, but it fell off the chain so I like to keep it in my purse because it's super cute :) 

Lastly, is my ipod! I always have this in my bag or in Craig's car. I hate travelling without music, especially them long bus journeys, so boringggg!

I've had my Hello Kitty ipod cover on it for about 3 years now, which I also got from Las Vegas, I think it was around $20.. you can probably find one similar on ebay :) so adorable!

I'm 19 and from england. 

My dream is to be a celebrity make-up artist and do special effects make-up for horror films!  It's taken me such a long time to decide on a career, when i was younger i wanted to be a forensic scientist- i looooved watching Crime Scene Investigation every night! but growing up, that soon changed. i stayed on at school to study art, graphics & photography. then i decided i wanted to be an air hostess, to travel the world and i loveee flying! most people are scared of it but i absolutely love it! :) i then became obsessed with makeup, hair, nails.. all the girly things :} i realised that makeup is just ALWAYS on my mind! in bed at night, before i fall asleep, i just lay there thinking of what colour eyeshadows to wear the next day and what colours go well together. after countless debates with myself, and endless discussions with my fiance i was just so confuseddd! then one conversation with craig changed that! he said something that really helped make my decision! he said- "i think a make-up artist would open so many doors for you" and realised it can! (thank you craig!!) so my mind was made!! i finally decided on my dream! make-up is my passion and getting to do that as a career would be the best thing ever! i'm going to work.my.ass.off to get where i want to be in life! I'm forever browsing the internet for inspirations and ideas :) i love having ambitions and feeling determined! i'm currently putting together a portfolio of all my make-up looks which i will include on here sometime in the near future! :)

So, my blog is going to be full of wedding planning updates, beauty product reviews, make-up tutorials and a few random posts here & there:)
